Power Calculator
Prototype of a power calculator for sales representatives to show customers the difference between steam and electric power.
✍️ Challenge
Stakeholders from Thermon had an Excel spreadsheet with several formulas used by sales reps to demonstrate potential heating cost savings to clients. However, a spreadsheet lacks visual impact and engagement. The challenge was to transform it into an interactive iPad app for a more compelling user experience.
Proof of Concept
There were no visual constraints at this stage, as the focus was on developing a proof of concept to gather initial stakeholder feedback. This flexible approach allowed for testing core ideas and iterating based on input before refining the design further.
Interactive Prototype
To confirm our hypothesis, the main feature was tested before the mockups went into production. An interactive prototype was created so users could experience a realistic iPad app.
Key Screens
The key screens focused on setting the pipeline and obtaining comparisons. Stakeholders were pleased with the quick turnaround on this project and pushed it for further testing.
